Ethiopia and EIB Global discussed €190 million in financing on 29 October 2026 for rural finance, energy and digitalisation projects. The discussions include €110 million for the Third Rural Financial Intermediation Programme and €80 million for the Renewable, Integrated and Sustainable Energy and Digitalization Project. These amounts represent financing under discussion, not confirmed disbursements.
