On 29 October 2026, Puerto Princesa City highlighted new private-investment opportunities in tourism, infrastructure, real estate and commercial development following its 2026 investment forum. One of the key proposals is a 15,000–20,000-seat convention and events centre at the Sta. Lucia Environmental Estate, designed to strengthen the city’s meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions market.
